Community Engagement Coordinator

Are you the Community Engagement Coordinator we’re looking for?

You’ll be instrumental in our ambition to reduce waste and increase participation in kerbside recycling in the Cheshire West area. You’ll provide recommendations on how we engage residents to motivate behaviour change.

With a commitment to driving improvement, a range of engagement tactics and behaviour change initiatives at your fingertips, your approach to this role will be to build strong and effective relationships, using data to inform your activities, whilst embedding our values and inspiring others.

It is essential that you have experience of engaging the community and multi-agencies with proven behaviour change results and have a qualification or similar in a subject related to the role. Which together with your self-motivation, persuasive skills and experience working in a similar role, gives you the confidence and techniques to successfully communicate and champion environmental change.

It is an exciting time for you to join CWR, one where you will be able to thrive and make a difference. You will become the point of contact for residents, and other stakeholders, and play an important role in them improving recycling rates and reducing waste and its impact on the environment.

Work with Us

Joining our award-winning organisation means you become one of our own. With our support, you'll develop your skills in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities aimed at enhancing our colleagues' expertise, increasing service quality, and driving savings.

We are a data driven, Council owned organisation, providing trusted services to the community in a safe, responsible, and innovative way. Our cooperative principles embrace a collaborative, socially driven approach to minimising the impact of waste upon our environment. We’re ready to take this commitment to the next level and further support the Council to provide excellent services whilst meeting environmental commitments.
